🐦 What We’re Looking For

       ⭐ Reliability is essential

               We’re a small team, and every shift matters. We’re looking for someone who shows up on time, follows through, and supports their teammates consistently.

       ⭐ Ability to work in BOTH locations

             Oakdale, NY

             East Setauket, NY

                (Schedules are provided in advance so you’ll always know where you’re working.)

⭐ Other Important Qualities

       🦶 Comfortable being on your feet throughout your shift

       💪 Able to lift 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally

       🚗 Comfortable carrying products — including 20 lb bags of bird seed — out to customer cars as part of our hands-on customer service

       🤝 A true team player who’s willing to jump in where needed

       😊 A genuine people person who enjoys meaningful conversations and listening to customers

       🐦 Curious about birds — or excited to learn (we provide training!)

       🧩 A problem-solving mindset — helping customers Discover A Refuge In Your Own Backyard®

🛠 What You’ll Do

        -Greet and assist customers with warmth, attention, and care
        -Share product knowledge and offer thoughtful recommendations
        -Carry products — including 20 lb bags of bird seed — to customer vehicles as part of our exceptional customer support
        -Stock merchandise and maintain a clean, welcoming store
        -Support daily store operations across both locations
        -Help create a friendly, community-focused environment customers love returning to

🕒 Position Details

        -Part-time position: 15–30 hours per week
        -Mix of weekday and weekend shifts
        -$18/hour or more, depending on experience
